Thousands of Feet of Yellow Caution Tape at Main and Pioneer

The mystery surrounding the wide spread shortage of yellow caution tape has been traced to a single intersection in Red River NM. For months, our nation has been in short supply without any explanation, this shortage has prevented contractors and municipalities from blocking roads and just allowing the public to freely move about, which according to one city official is "entirely unacceptable". With the lack of yellow caution tape, contractors and municipalities have resorted to using duct tape and packing tape in order to disrupt normal traffic flow, with little success.

Fortunately, the mystery has been solved, as the missing tape has been located at the intersection of Main St and Pioneer Rd. in Red River. Negotiations between larger cities and the Town of Red River are currently underway in order to purchase some of the tape at Main and Pioneer so the they too can get back to disrupting traffic in their own cities before the summer travel season is over.

We reached out to the Mayor for comment as to why we are hoarding yellow caution tape but received no comment. (not really).

Actually, our sidewalk project is going well and they look great but if you are coming to Red River, don't even think about going down this street.
